View looking south southeast at 9:00 PM (SkyChart III). Uranus (Mag 5.7 in Aquarius), followed by a full moon (97% illuminated), rises two hours before sunset and will be visible with binoculars in the south southeast after the end of evening twilight. Neptune (Mag 7.9 in Capricornus) rises several hours before sunset. Binoculars or a small telescope will be needed to find this planet in the south during the evening. |
