NOVAC members may now observe at The Mountain Institute in Spruce Knob, WV. Spruce Knob is one of the premier dark sky sites on the East Coast! The Mountain Institute provides an outstanding observing location as well as civilized amenities like hot showers and internet access.
NOVAC has reserved a limited number of bunks in the TMI dorms as well as camping spaces. NOVAC members may reserve these spaces for free. Once these spaces are gone, members may still reserve additional bunks for $25 per night and camping priviledges for $15 per night.
