Gatewood Group Camping Area Directions
The Gatewood Group camping area at Spruce Knob is located in the Monongahela National Forest. It is a stunningly beautiful area that offers an excellent area to escape into the wilderness. 

Because of its remoteness, please make sure your vehicle is in good condition. It's a good idea to check and service it before departure. You will be driving over two 3500 foot and one 4300 foot mountains. Several roads have 9-degree slopes going both up and down! Your transmission, steering, suspension, brakes and tires will get a thorough workout.
