Join NOVAC as we welcome Ana Maria Milla from the Cusco Planetarium in Cusco, Peru! Ana Maria will share her passion for astronomy, educate us on the Astronomy of the Incas, and tell us all the excitement and experience of viewing the southern skies.
This NOVAC meeting will be held both in-person at George Mason University as well as live-streamed via Google Meet. Ana Maria will be speaking to us virtually from her location in Cusco, Peru, but you are welcome to join us as we gather at GMU and watch the talk from there. Biography:
Ana Maria is the manager of the Cusco Planetarium project, and designer of the concept of their local experiences in sharing astronomy with the community. She is a passionate guide and gifted storyteller who knows and loves the southern skies and is eager to talk about them.
