Explore the wonders of the night sky through a variety of telescopes and enjoy engaging activities including: \n\n\n\n• Solar observing \n\n\n\n• Guided sky tour \n\n\n\n• Night sky observing \n\n\n\n• Astronomy Presentations \n\n\n\nWhether you’re a beginner or a seasoned observer\, all are welcome—no experience or equipment needed. If you have binoculars or your own telescope\, feel free to bring them along. \n\n\n\nPlease Note: \n\n\n\n• Always ask before using someone else’s equipment. \n\n\n\n• Keep a close eye on children around telescopes. \n\n\n\n• Avoid bug spray and smoking near the observing area. \n\n\n\n• Pets are not allowed on the observing field. \n\n\n\nTo preserve night vision\, bring a red flashlight and dim your vehicle’s headlights when arriving or leaving. Stay hydrated and plan to enjoy the evening as long as weather permits. \n\n\n\nLocation: Sky Meadows State Park \n\n\n\nParking Fee: $10 per vehicle \n\n\n\nEvent Admission: Free! \n\n\n\nNOVAC Members: Free parking with valid membership card (printable from the members-only section) \n\n\n\nInterested in joining NOVAC?
