With AHSP 2013 the same weekend as our monthly meeting and a number of members and board personnel in attendance of the event we won't be meeting in September but will resume our Red Hot and Blue and monthly meeting at GMU in October.
We received great support from our requests for attendee prizes for AHSP this year from a number companies. We have post on the AHSP website with all the donations and a links to each vendor that supplied them. Please support these companies as they sure support us!
We have our general meeting this coming Sunday. We will meet at 7:00 p.m. June 9th on the GMU campus. As we've done for the last several months, we'll gather in Research Hall, Room 163; this is the large meeting room on the ground floor of the building next to the observatory tower. We are stil looking for volunteers, so am asking that anyone with the least inclination to pitch in and do some relief work to come and do so! Especially needed are any members with solar scopes, or those who have interest in promoting IDA or other Dark Sky initiatives.
