How to use Libby:
  • I can’t login, why?
Some users report that they have a two or three digit member ID prefixed with zeros. Try dropping the leading zeros. For example if you’re member ID is 0123, just use 123 when logging in.
  • I still can’t login, what am I doing wrong?
Contact and we’ll get your login fixed for you.
  • Someone else has the book I want, what can I do?
Right now, while we learn what members are interested in we only have one copy of each title. If a book is very popular we can add extra titles. Contact if you run into long waitlists.
  • Are there any audio books?
At the moment we are focusing our budget on eBooks only, but we do have one audio book for testing: Collins Stargazing: Beginners Guide to Astronomy. If you have an interest in audiobooks, contact and if we find enough people are interested we can add more to our collection.
  • A book I want is not in the collection, how can I get it?
We use a service called Overdrive for our library and can only select our offerings from their larger catalog. Not all astronomy titles are available in Overdrive’s catalog. Try using the search at if the title is in Overdrive’s catalog but not available in the NOVAC library, you can click a button to recommend we add it.
Another option is to check with to see if we have it in our print collection.
